Weili Zhang has sliced through her competition like a hot knife through butter.
Born in China, Weili was a fitness instructor before she began her training in mixed martial arts (MMA). She fought in her first pro MMA fight at the age of 24. She lost the fight, but this fueled the fire within to come back stronger, faster, better.
Weili was soon signed to Kunlun Fight, a fighting organization based in China, where she would quickly capture their Women’s Strawweight Championship. She successfully defended the title on multiple occasions before earning a contract with the UFC.
Entering into UFC with an MMA record of 16-1-0, Weili trailblazed through the ranks of the strawweight division. She made her UFC debut in August 2018 and by August 2019 she had captured the top prize, the UFC Women’s Strawweight Championship. In fact, she’s the first Chinese champion in UFC history.
Weili’s determination and dedication exemplifies what it takes to BE GREAT! We are proud to have Weili on our roster and provide her with the nutritional support to fuel her performance and recovery.
